Amy Doherty was tragically killed in Derry at the weekend.

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council Cllr Ruairí McHugh opened a Book of Condolence in the Guildhall this afternoon in memory of Amy Doherty who was tragically killed at the weekend.

The Book of Condolence will be open to the public from 4.00pm today, Monday, March 23 2026.

For those who are unable to sign the book in person they can do so online via the Council’s website.

Mayor McHugh said the Book of Condolence was an opportunity for the public to express their condolence and grief and show support to Amy’s family and friends.
